INTERNATIONAL ART EXHIBITIONS FOR THE INTREPID

The Book Illustration Competition The competition is open to illustrators over the age of 18, both student and professional. Entrants are asked to submit three illustrations for Love Poems, selected and edited by Imtiaz Dharker. Standard entry: £25 Student entry: £15 If you win, you will be commissioned to produce a further six full-page illustrations and a binding for the book which will be published by The Folio Society, for which you will be paid £5,000.

Apila's First Printing Award 2020 Illustrators – regardless of nationality – may submit to the competition a project of an illustrated book for children, written in Spanish. Entry is free. The winning book will be published by the Apila Ediciones. The winner will receive € 4.000.

The Sunny Art Prize 2020 This competition invites submissions from all over the world. Entrants must be 18 years or over. Categories: sculpture, painting, drawing, original print, photography, ceramic, mixed media, installation, video art and/or moving image, digital art. Entry fees: one artwork: £25, two artworks: £32, three artworks: £40, four artworks: £45. • 1st prize: £3,000 • 2nd prize: £2,000 • 3rd prize: £1,000

Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize 2020 Entrants may submit up to 5 different artworks, of any medium including paintings, photography, mixed media, sculpture, etc. Entry fee is £20 for first artwork, then £10 per additional artwork. The winner will receive a £3,000 cash prize and a solo exhibition in the Ashurst Emerging Artists Gallery in London.

Chicago Latino Film Festival POSTER CONTEST The competition is open to all artists. Entries will be accepted from individuals, collaborative teams or design firms. Entry is free. The winner receives $1,000.

International Biennial Print Exhibit: 2020 R.O.C. •The competition is open to artists from around the world. All entries must be original prints on paper. All printmaking techniques, including monotypes and digital prints, are accepted. The competition is free to enter. Gold Prize (1): NTD 400,000 Silver Prize (1): NTD 200,000 Bronze Prize (1): NTD 100,000 •

The International Image Contest 2020 •The competition is open to students and professionals of photography, design, visual arts and documentary films. The main topic of the contest is Water. Entry is free. The total value of the prizes is 40,000 USD •2020-01-26 • •BP Portrait Award 2020 •The BP Portrait Award is an annual portrait painting competition held at the National Portrait Gallery in London. The competition is open to all artists from around the world. Artists must be aged 18 years or over. The entry fee is £40. • First Prize: £35,000 • Second Prize: £12,000 • Third Prize: £10,000 •

Wildlife Artist of the Year 2020 •The competition is open to amateur and professional artists aged 17 and over. The judges will accept all traditional artistic mediums, excluding digital and photography. Entry fees: £25 or £10. The overall winner will receive a cash prize of £10,000. •

International Reggae Poster Contest 2020 •The International Reggae Poster Contest is open to all graphic designers and artists internationally. The contest is free to enter. The grand winner will be a guest at one of the best European reggae festivals, held in Benicassim, Spain. The prize includes airline ticket, 7 days accommodation and tickets to the festival each day. •

Puchi Award 2020 This competition is open to books in any genre or form: fiction, non-fiction, poetry, novels, comics, illustrated albums, essays, cookbooks, geography books, or any other type imaginable. You may submit only finished works that have never been published. Entry is free. The winner will receive a cash prize of €8,000 and his work will be published by Fulgencio Pimentel.

Jackson’s Painting Prize 2020 Artists may submit artworks in any painting or drawing media. Entry fee: £5 per artwork. Prizes: • Overall Winner: £5,000 • People’s Choice Award: £1,000 • Emerging Artist Award: £1,000 • 6 Category Prizes: £500 each.

International Exlibris Competition This competition invites submissions from anywhere in the world. Each entrant may send one, two or three different ex-libris. There is no set theme for this competition. The competition is free to enter. • First prize: £1250 • Second prize: £750 • Third prize: £500.

Embracing Our Differences - 2021 Exhibit Artists, professionals, amateurs, students are requested to submit their interpretation of the theme ''enriching lives through diversity and inclusion.'' Entry is free. A total of $3,000 will be presented in the form of three separate awards – $1,000 each for 'Best-in-Show Adult', 'Best-in-Show Student' and the 'People’s Choice'.

Bridgeman Studio Award 2019 The Bridgeman Studio Award is an annual art competition for artists, illustrators and fine art photographers. You may submit up to 5 images on the theme ART OF DIVERSITY. The competition is free to enter. The winner will receive a cash prize of £5000, plus the winning artwork will be turned into a limited edition print and exhibited in London in March 2020.

Kino der Kunst 2020 The competition is open to visual artists from around the world. The theme of this edition is 'Forbidden beauty'. The competition is free to enter. Awards: • Feature-Length Film Main Award: €10,000 • Short Film Main Award: €10,000 • Audience Award: €5,000.

The Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours 208th Exhibition Artists are invited to submit works in watercolour or water-soluble mediums including watercolour, acrylic, ink or gouache painted on paper or paper based support. Submission fee: £18 per work (or £12 per work for artists aged 35 or under). The exhibition offers several prizes and awards, including the Winsor & Newton Award worth £3,000.

World of WearableArt Design Competition The World of WearableArt Awards is an annual wearable art competition. It is open to designers from all over the world. The entry is free. The 2020 World of WearableArt Awards offer NZD187,500 in prize money. 2020-03-30 2020 Fumetto International Comix Competition This year's theme is 'All is networked!'. You may submit only one comic (story in picture form). The competition is free to enter. The winners will receive cash prizes.

International Art Exhibition NordArt 2020 The NordArt is an annual international exhibition of visual arts (painting, sculpture, installation, photo, etc.). The competiton is open to artists from all over the world. There are no registration fees. The NordArt-Prize is worth €10,000. Each year one artist is awarded. 2019-11-30 International Silent Book Contest 2020 The competition is open to illustrators over the age of 18 from around the world. You may submit a new and unpublished illustrated book without words. The entry fee is 50 €. The winner will receive 4,000 € and the winning book will be published by Carthusia Edizioni.

2020-02-15 The Derwent Art Prize Artists are invited to submit up to 6 images. The work entered must be created in pencil (including water-soluble, pastel, graphite, charcoal or coloured pencils). The entry fee is £15 for the first work and £5 for additional works. • First Prize: £6,000 • Second Prize: £3,000 • Third Prize: £1,500 2020-02-17 Andreu World Contest 2019 The competition is open to design students and professionals, without age limit.
